Experience the world of conservation as we dive into Project Feederwatch, a survey of birds by people and organizations throughout the U.S and Canada. Learn how to identify some common local birds, why bird conservation is so important, and get a chance to practice surveying techniques, all under the guidance of our Conservation Manager and Education team. 

Students MUST be 12 years or older to participate. One adult may accompany each student, but must have valid museum admission and are participating in an observational capacity only. Student and adult museum admission NOT included.

Appropriate lab attire, including long pants, closed toe shoes, and weather appropriate clothing, is required. Due to lab activities, students must be capable of navigating off-path terrain and be capable of kneeling, bending, squatting, lifting objects 25lbs or less, as needed for lab activity work.
