Join Alec Zaborniak, the Virginia Living Museum's Non-Live Collections Manager, and Deanna Orr, the Virginia Living Museum's Conservation Manager, to learn about how species go extinct, what we can learn from their fossils, and how past extinction events can help us better protect species in the future. We'll take an up close look at fossils and preserved items from extinct or currently endangered species as well as meeting a few animals currently facing threats pushing them towards extinction.
